Another call for riders! This loving and proud mother sincerely
would love to have the ALR come to her son Max's going away
celebration. She's graciously invited us to join them for good food and drink for our efforts...She's even gone as far as to offer money, time or gas to draw riders in. Ms. Meadows, I appreciate the offers, but decline them. No family of a service member should feel they need to do that to receive our support and I thank you. It is an honor to be at your service, to show you and your son how proud and grateful we are. So come on guys, lets step up and show our support. To date I have the following confirmed riders: Myself, Dan Washington, Dave Curtis and his wife Sheri. We will meet at the Duluth Post 251 on Saturday, August 9th by 1700 (5pm) KSU at 1715 (5:15 pm). I will have ride maps in case we get separated on the way over (unlikely but things happen). In that event we will also have a rally point at her neighborhoods entrance. I have an ALR251 Memorial ride shirt and challenge coin for Max and his mother. Please respond if you can or cannot make it! |
